It does this by giving consumers access to the power of group buying and prices normally reserved for large companies, therefore enabling suppliers to sell more products to more people.

Below you will find our terms and conditions that apply to you when using this site.

 

1. User Agreement

1.1 When you use the Squizby.com website and/or interact with any of its social media pages, you agree to these terms and conditions and our privacy policy. This agreement is between you and Squizby.com (referred to in this agreement as ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’). We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, and any such changes will be posted on the website. By continuing to use this site, you agree to these changes.

 

2. Registration and User Requirements

2.1 You are required to be a registered user of the Squizby.com in order to access some features on the Website. Upon registration, you will be required to provide us with a username, an email address, and generate a password. You must ensure that this information is accurate and kept secure.

2.2 In continuing to use the Website and its inherant functionality, you are granting express consent to us to send direct marketing media to the email address that you have provided. As such, we may send you emails such as those relating to items that remain in your cart in the event that you have left the Website prior to completing a purchase. Furthermore, we may send you emails informing you that a group buy in which you were a participant has concluded and subsequently, any and all funds pertaining to the refund aspect of that group buy have been credited to your Squizby account.

2.3 To register an account, or to use the Website, you must be over the age of 18, have a current Australian residential address, and be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement with us.

 

3. Access and use of the Website

3.1 The Website must only be used through interfaces provided by us in accordance with these term and conditions and any applicable law.

3.2 We are not responsible for any unauthorised activity on your account (including the loss of credit from your Squizby account) in the event you fail to keep you account information secure.

3.3 You must not use another person’s account without our, and/or the other user’s express consent. Futher, you must notify us immediately if you suspect or become aware that there has been unauthorised activity on your account, and take steps to prevent the continuation of such activity, including changing your password.

3.4 Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the Website is available at all times without disruption, we do not guarantee this.  

3.5 We do not guarantee or warrant the accuracy of information pertaining to the Website on any other website that links to or from Squizby.com.

 

4. Information on this Website

4.1 Whilst every effort is made to ensure an accurate photographic representation of the goods on the Website, some actual goods may differ to a small extent in visual appearance, for example colour, to those depicted in photograps on the Website. Furthermore, some beforementioned photograps may be used by us for promotional purposes, and may not be an accurate representation of the product received.

 

5. Use of Credits within the Website

5.1 Refunds relating to group buys within the Website are only available to you if you have a registered account with the Website.If you purchase an item as a guest, you don’t qualify for group buy refund credts.

5.2 Refund credits issued by the Website and stored in the Website can not be transferred from the Website. They are only redeemable for the purchase of products on the Website at a rate of conversion of one for one of the respective currency.

5.3 You may use your refund credits fro the purchase of products on the Website. They may be used for purchases as a sole souce of payment, or in conjunction with other payment methods.

5.4 To the extent permitted by law, Squizby.com reserves the right to change any of the terms and conditions relating to the group buy refund credit system on the Website on the provision that reasonable notice has be issued through the Website.

 

6. Placing Orders

6.1 Goods sold by Squizby.com are not reserved in your cart, whether added via the Buy Now or Group Buy format. The order is only completed once you have finalised the checkout process, you have received an order confirmation from us, and we have received payment in full. 

6.2 Your order may be rejected in the event that an error has been detected on the Website, for example an error relating to the product price or desription. In that case, we will notify you and refund your payment in full.

 6.3 It is your responsibility to review your order carefully before completing your purchase, as once the order is confirmed, you will be unable to cancel or change it. The normal returns process outlined in this agreement applies in the event you have a problem with your order. If you change your mind about an item after you have received it, you will have the opportunity to return the item under the Change of Mind policy outlined in this agreement, provided that you qualify.

6.4 We reserve the right to notify you in the event that products relating to an order you have placed have become unavailable for reasons beyond our control. As such your order may be delayed, or you may receive a full refund or credit if your order can’t be fulfilled.

 

7. Guest Checkout

7.1 You are able to make purchases and participate in group buys as a guest on the Website. In order to receive credits assocatiated with group buys however, you do need to have an account on the Website.

7.2 Upon checking out as a guest, we will collect information that you prvide, including your name, email, and delivery  address, in accordance with our privacy policy.

8. Prices and Payments

8.2 Prices for products on the Website are listed in Australian Dollars.

8.2 Payments for purchases must be received in full prior to goods being dispatched. If for some reason your payment is declined, we will not hold the items in your cart against your order.

 

9. Products from Overseas Suppliers

9.1 Some products on the Website originate from overseas suppliers and manufacturers.By purchasing these goods and importing them into Australia, you may be required to comply with Australian laws and standards pertaining to the importation of such goods.

9.2 Some products that originate from overseas suppliers and manufacturers that exceed the low-value import threshold of $1000 may be subject to an additonal GST component to be collected from you by the Australian Customs and Border Force.

9.3 Products that originate from overseas suppliers and manufactureres, may differ in terms of their packaging, composition and quality in comparison to thise sold in Australia for the Australian market.

 

10. Shipping and Delivery

10.1 Whilst we endeavour to meet stipulated delivery timeframes, we do not take responsiblity for delays associated with your delivery due to factors beyond our control. This is particularly relevant during busy holiday periods.

10.2 All products listed on the Website are subject to free shipping within Australia. 

10.3 Products sold on the Website may require a signature upon delivery to your location. Such deliveries will be completed in accordance with the standard practices of the relevant service provider.

10.4 In the event that a signature is required for the delivery of your goods, it is your responsibility to ensure you are able to accept delivery. We will not be responsible for the following:

(a) Late delivery when delivery has been attempted to your location on or before the advised delivery date;

(b) Missing deliveries that have been signed for by you or another person at your delivery location;

(c) Missing deliveries that have been left in your specified location as directed on your authority to leave with the delivery service provider.

10.5 We reserve the right to change our delivery options at any time.

 

11. Change of Mind Policy

11.1 You are entitled to return a product for a full refund or credit (if you have a Squizby account) in the event that you change your mind about an item you have received, provided that the item is:

(a) returned within 14 days of receiveing the order;

(b) as new, and is in now way used, worn or opened, and has all packaging and tags in-tact. This includes package seals in an unbroken condition;

(c) is in a resealable condition; and

(d) Is in no way damaged.

11.2 Products that come in sealed packages where the the seal or box have been damaged or broken will not be accepted for change of mind under this agreement.

11.3 All costs and risk associated with a change of mind return are your responsibility, including return shipping. You will not be eligible for a refund or credit if the item is not received by us or the relevant supplier or manufacturer. We recommend that high value items are insure against loss or damage when returned under this agreement.

11.4 Only when the product in question has been received by us, the relevant supplier or manufacturer, and the product complies with the standards under 11.1, will you then be eligible for a refund or credit. If the condition of the product does not comply with the standards under 11.1, you will be responsible for the return shipping of the item to your delivery location.

11.5 Items excluded from the change of mind policy include:

  • Underwear and socks
  • Swimwear
  • Intimate wear
  • Pillows, matresses, or pillow and matress protectors
  • Assembled furniture
  • Large or bulky appliances
  • Goods that have been personalised or made to order
  • Cosmetic and beauty products where the hygene seal has been broken
  • Earphones or headphones where the package has been opened
  • Digital or downloadable goods

 

12. Problems With Your Purchased Items

12.1 In the unlikely event that you encounter a problem with your purchased items, you can contact us via our support chat, or via email at support@squizby.com. From there we will advise of the best course or action if items need to be returned to us.

12.2 Upon receipt of a returned item, an assessment will be conducted in relation to any defect, either by us or a third party. A decision will then be made in terms of repair/replacement.

12.3 Your claim will be rejected and your item returned to you at your expense, if upon inspection of your item, there is evidence of misuse or failure to use in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Instructions will be provided to you on facilitating payment of costs for returned items.

12.4 If a refund is required, it will be issued via the same payment method used when purchasing the item.

12.5 We aim to process all valid refunds within 7 days of receiving your returned item, and an a corresponding decision for refund being made. This however may take longer, and can depend on the number of requests at the time.
